Bob Cermignano started working in the HVAC industry at 16 years old. It was his first summer job while he was in high school. After several years of working full time in the industry, Bob Cermignano decided to go into business for himself and founded Bob Cermignano Air Conditioning & Heating, Inc. on July 12, 1980 in Ardmore, PA. When Bob first started the company, he had one truck and $750 in his pocket. The first shop that Bob rented for his company was in Ardmore, PA. The owner of the shop, a plumbing contractor, only charged Bob $1 a day for rent. As the company continued to grow and hired more employees, Bob purchased his first (and current) shop and office building in 1988.
In 2002, Bob Cermignano Air Conditioning & Heating, Inc. became a Bryant Factory Authorized Dealer (BFAD). This means we were recognized by Bryant as having met the highest standards for superior skills, service and a promise of 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Additionally, many of our technicians are NATE (North American Technician Excellence) certified. NATE is an independent, third-party organization that develops and promotes excellence in the installation and service of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment by recognizing high-quality industry technicians through voluntary testing and certification.
Bob Cermignano Air Conditioning & Heating, Inc. is active in the Ardmore community. We are a member of the Ardmore Business Association, Main Line Chamber of Commerce, sponsor of various Ardmore Initiative events and supporter of the Ardmore Food Pantry. We have been the proud recipients of the “Reader’s Choice Best of Main Line Media News” award for Best Heating/Air Conditioning Company from 2000-2020. Rich worked hard to get me emergency service on a crazy day. Joe came and did a patch to hold me over and then came back next day to replace a section of steam line so the heat is again good to go. Glad I am a service customer.
Found out our heating system wasn't working at 3pm we called several HVAC service companies in the area. Bob Cermignano was the only one able to come out that day. Their tech had diagnosed and fixed the issue by 5pm. Could not be more pleased with the professionalism, communication and speed. Turns out in talking to neighbors afterword Bob Cermignano has a wonderful reputation and several recommendations. We will definitely be calling them for our HVAC needs in the future.
My old HVAC system was about 30+ years old. I interviewed with several companies (yes, more than three). My units were installed the end of March. I am very pleased with the level of service and professionalism of everyone I've come in contact with. The most amazing part is I was not put on the back burner after the installation was done! OJim arrived promptly , listened to what I had observed about an error message on our thermostat, troubleshot the system and found the issue. Immediately checked for parts availability to do the repair, got us scheduled for the next morning and provide the estimated billing. Very efficient, communicative and personable tech.
My air conditioning system failed two nights ago, just before the hottest day of the year (heat index around 100). Joe came out that day (yesterday) and diagnosed the problem which required a part that had to be ordered. He returned today to install the new part which got the system functioning again. I am grateful for the prompt, courteous and knowledgeable service and for the cool air.
The Air conditioning units were serviced on Monday 7/3 seviceman told us everything was good. Then on Saturday 7/8 the unit for the first floor was not cooling. We had an emergency seviceman come over around 3PM and found out there was no freon in the unit because of a leak, but nothing he could do. It is the second time that the same serviceman on 7/3 did the service and we have a problem after the completion of the service. Last time was the second floor unit leaking coil. i believe the same problem is for the first floor unit. a leaking coil. We expect a prompt call on Monday to expedite necessary repairs.We have a lond customer relationship with the Bob Cermignano orgaization so expect to be serviced timely.Andreas EconomouP.S.
